PHAROL's mission is to extract maximum value from its assets, reduce its liabilities to third parties and return maximum cash to its Shareholders, with a low-cost structure and in the shortest period of time, taking into account the following strategic guidelines:

• Maximize and defend the value of the assets in the portfolio;

• Minimize liabilities to third parties;

• Return cash surplus to shareholders;

• Minimize the operating cost structure.

PHAROL, SGPS S.A.'s mission is also to integrate a set of ethical values ​​of conduct and sustainability into all its activities, which it considers fundamental and defining to its identity.

As of December 31, 2025, PHAROL holds the following as its main assets:

• the debt instruments of Rio Forte Investments S.A. (“Rio Forte”) with a nominal value of 897 million Euros and currently valued at 51.9 million Euros;

• investment in share and bond portfolios worth 27.8 million Euros;

• cash and cash equivalents worth 14.9 million Euros.

PHAROL owns 100% Bratel B.V., based in the Netherlands and operating as a financial vehicle.​ It also holds, through Bratel BV, in Bratel Sarl, headquartered in Luxembourg.
